Episode 8 of tvN's 'Tomorrow, I'll Go to Work!' aired July 14. Kang Si-woo's past crashes into his present as Cha Ji-yoon reaches her limit.

Episode 8 of tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 내일도 출근! (Tomorrow, I'll Go to Work!) aired on July 14. The show blew up its central romance without hesitation.
Cha Ji-yoon (Park Ji-hyun) spots Kang Si-woo (Seo In-guk) sitting in a car with his ex-wife Choi Su-jin (Park Ye-young). What she doesn't know: Su-jin's mother has dementia, and Si-woo had been meeting with her when the older woman suddenly collapsed. He had to stay.
The misunderstanding hits hard. Ji-yoon confronts Si-woo, telling him it's painful to see him with Su-jin, to wait while he meets her family, to not be able to say openly that they're together. Si-woo responds with what the episode frames as his first apology since they started dating: "I'm sorry. I'm truly sorry that my choices have become a blemish on you, Ji-yoon."
It doesn't work. Ji-yoon fires back—"Why should I have to bear the weight of your past?"—then turns away in tears. Cha Ji-yoon's ex-boyfriend Jo Ga-eul is also in the mix, played by Choi Kyung-hoon, though episode 8 keeps the focus on the Si-woo/Ji-yoon fallout.
The episode 9 preview teases Si-woo asking whether the present can be changed even if the past can't. Ji-yoon pushes for the truth: "Can you tell me why the two of you divorced?" The divorce backstory, held back this long, looks like it's finally coming.
