Virtual idol mumune of 2-member group WISHes dropped her debut solo track 'Orange Flare' on July 30, a hyperpop-punk hybrid co-produced with streamer Jo Maelyeok.

mumune of Grim Production's virtual idol duo WISHes released her first solo track, Orange Flare, on July 30 across music sites.
The song blends hyperpop and pop punk into a rock hybrid built around bright chord progressions and rocking guitar. Streamer-singer Jo Maelyeok (조매력) co-produced it. Game music composer INFX (이노픽스) and MonoTree composer IRIS (이리스) also co-composed the track. Jo's band 조력사무소 performed it in full rock band format.
The music video cuts between outdoor live-action footage and virtual production—band performance in a grassy field, a concert stage, virtual performance sequences all woven together.
mumune said: "I'm excited and prepared hard to be able to show you a good song as a solo release." She wants the activity to bring wider recognition to both herself and WISHes.
WISHes built its fanbase primarily through Naver's CHZZK streaming platform, and that's where the release showcase lands too. July 30 at 6 PM, with Jo Maelyeok and the band session joining live. (First solo, first showcase, full band on stream—not a bad debut move.)
