A24's *The Drama* landed 3rd in the studio's all-time opening weekends. Now it's heading to Korean theaters in September 2026.

Zendaya and Robert Pattinson's A24 romance thriller The Drama is coming to Korean theaters in September 2026.
A couple on the eve of their wedding confess hidden pasts to each other, and what should have been a perfect week spirals into chaos. Zendaya plays Emma, whose concealed history surfaces before the ceremony. Pattinson is Charlie, her fiancé, who falls apart after learning her secret. Alena Haim rounds out the cast.
Christopher Bogliano directed and wrote the screenplay. Ari Aster, who made Hereditary and Midsommar, produced. The film opens like a romantic comedy. Then it becomes a psychological thriller. That tonal shift earned praise at its North American release in April.
The box office numbers justified the buzz. The Drama posted the 3rd-highest opening weekend in A24 history, beating out both Hereditary and Everything Everywhere All at Once. Global box office revenue has exceeded approximately 200 billion KRW.
The first poster shows Emma in a wedding ring, held by Charlie as both stare directly forward. The tagline reads: "You are cordially invited." (The irony does a lot of work.)
Zendaya and Pattinson are sharing screen time in three films this year. The Drama, Odyssey, and Dune: Part 3 all feature the pair.
The Drama opens nationwide in September 2026.
