Ahof tops K-Topstar Best Rookie chart after mini album 3 comeback
Ahof won K-Topstar's Best Rookie (Male) award for Aug 3–9, buoyed by their July 8 mini album release.
Ahof claimed first place in the 109th K-Topstar "Best Rookie (Male)" vote for August 3–9, 2026. Horizon came in second.
The nine-member group—Steven, Seo Jeong-woo, Cha Ung-gi, Zhang Hao (장슈아이보), Park Han, J.L., Park Joo-won, Zuen (즈언), and Daisuke—dropped mini album 3 RUN TO YOU on July 8. It was their first release in roughly eight months.
The win arrives as the group runs a full schedule. They kicked off "2026 AHOF 1ST TOUR : THE FIRST SPARK" in Seoul back in May. By August 2, they were in Taipei playing the International Convention Center (TICC). Nine members, two continents, three months.
In the same K-Topstar period, virtual group PLAVE extended their "Best Idol (Male)" streak to 11 consecutive weeks. BTOB placed second, BTS third. Their fourth mini album Caligo Pt.2 moved roughly 1.25 million copies in initial sales—a personal record—and hit the Billboard 200 at No. 145. The group's first world tour, "2026 PLAVE WORLD TOUR 'KEEP IT MANIC'," launches at Incheon Munhak Stadium on September 12 and 13, then rolls through Kanagawa, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Singapore, Taipei, and Macau, with more cities still to come.
Kep1er held the "Best Idol (Female)" crown for 46 consecutive weeks. IU was second, BVLLY third.
