Trot singer Doori (Bong Doori, 34) released 'Seoul Kkaknjaengi' on August 6—her first single in three years—with a live TV performance coming August 10.

Trot singer Doori (봉두리) released Seoul Kkaknjaengi on August 6, 2026, her first comeback in three years.
The track spoofs the daily life and feelings of someone from Gwangju, Jeolla Province who moves to Seoul and becomes a "Seoul girl." Producer Kim Seong-chae (김성채), who has worked on OST material with her before, spent roughly three months writing it specifically for her.
Doori debuted in 2018 as main vocalist of five-member girl group GBB through the digital single GIRLS BE THE BEST. She placed 7th in the final rankings on TV Chosun's Naeil-eun Miss Trot, which established her as a trot artist. She then formed unit Venus (비너스) with fellow finalists Jung Da-kyung (정다경) and Park Seong-yeon (박성연) to release semi-trot material. Before entertainment, she finished 2nd in the Gyeonggi-Incheon region at the 2015 Miss Intercontinental Korea competition, where she also won the BNT Star Award and Photogenic Award. She took gold in the women's 60m at the 2018 Chuseok Idol Sports Competition.
She plans to connect with fans through broadcast and live performances. Her fandom, Dulli (둘리), gets the first live performance on August 10, when she appears on episode 160 of The Trot Show at 8:00 PM, performing Singgok Wassong (신곡 왔SONG).
"Please listen to and find Seoul Kkaknjaengi a lot," she said at release.
