Kim Shin-bi returns as Choi Kyung-jin in SBS's '재벌X형사2,' premiering August 7

재벌X형사2 hit SBS on August 7 at 9:50 PM as the network's first season-format drama of 2026. Studio S, Big Ocean N&M, and BA Entertainment produced it.

Kim Shin-bi plays Choi Kyung-jin (최경진), the youngest detective at Ganggang Police Station's Major Crimes Unit 1. Season 2 ages up the character and rewires the dynamics. In season 1, Choi Kyung-jin orbited wealthy detective Jin Yi-soo (An Bo-hyun). Now he's drawn to the newly appointed team leader Ju Hye-ra, played by Jung Eun-chae. She arrives as head of the National Police Agency's Anti-Terror Team. Kang Sang-jun joins as Park Jun-young (박준영). The plot centers on a homemade bomb at Jin Yi-soo's own department store, Hansu Department Store.
