LE SSERAFIM's Hong Eunchae goes 4-for-4 as ceremonial first pitcher, earns 'victory fairy' nickname
Hong Eunchae threw the first pitch at a Doosan Bears game on Aug. 29—her fourth appearance, fourth win—as LE SSERAFIM readies 'Made My Night' for Sept. 11.

The LE SSERAFIM member threw the ceremonial first pitch for the Doosan Bears at Seoul Jamsil Baseball Stadium on August 29, when the Bears hosted the Kiwoom Heroes in a 2026 KBO League regular season game. She stayed in the stands after the pitch, cheering through the full game in athletic wear.
With the Bears trailing by one run, Hong Eunchae led cheers to BOOMPALA, the title track from LE SSERAFIM's regular second album. The Bears came back to win 7:2.
That result extended her perfect record. In 2022, she attended a Doosan Bears vs. KT Wiz game alongside Kim Chaewon—Kim Chaewon threw the first pitch, Hong Eunchae batted—and the Bears won. March 2025 brought her solo ceremonial pitch at the Bears' home opener, described as perfect, and another win. On August 5, she threw the first pitch at Chiba Zozo Marine Stadium in Japan for a Chiba Lotte Marines vs. Saitama Seibu Lions game; the Marines won 8:0. Four appearances across Korea and Japan. Four wins. The 'victory fairy' nickname is writing itself.
Hong Eunchae has been a lifelong baseball fan since childhood.
