Na Young-seok's Netflix hiking show '대체 등산을 왜 하는 건데?' holds production showcase

Netflix's new variety show 대체 등산을 왜 하는 건데? held its production presentation on August 12 at Hotel Naru Seoul M Gallery in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Four people with no real connection to hiking get sent up a snowy mountain in the middle of winter. That's the show. Carder Garden (카더가든), Do-un (도운), Lee Chae-min (이채민), and Tarzan (타잔) play reluctant climbers—what the show frames as naebalnaesan (내발내산), a riff on the Korean phrase for self-initiated hiking.
Producer Na Young-seok appeared at the showcase and singled out the cast. "Carder Garden, Lee Chae-min and others are talents who will lead entertainment for the next 10 years," he said. Na doesn't hand out compliments like that often.
The show is Na Young-seok's latest variety project for Netflix.
