Nam Goong-min's KBS2 drama 'The Completion of Marriage' peaks at 7.5% viewership through episode 6

Nam Goong-min's KBS2 drama 결혼의 완성 (The Completion of Marriage) peaked at 7.5% viewership across its first six episodes. Episode 4 posted the highest single-episode rating at 7.2%.

The 12-part series airs Saturdays and Sundays at 9:20 PM, directed by Kim Jeong-hyeon and Kim Min-tae from a script by Jeong Jae-ha. Nam Goong-min plays Kang Tae-ju, a 37-year-old neurosurgeon and director of Woori Together Hospital. Lee Seol plays his wife Ko Se-yun, 35, the hospital's board chair. Their conflict emerges in sharp dialogue: Tae-ju tells Se-yun, "Let's break up. Let's divorce," and Se-yun responds, "It's not that I can't leave — I won't. I don't want to give you anything just because I like you."

The cast rounds out with Kim Dae-myung, Lee Sang-hee, Park Byeong-eun, Jang Gwang, Oh Min-ae, and Cha Mi-gyeong in major roles. Kwon Hyeok, Woo Ji-hyeon, Jo Yun-seo, Jeon Gwang-jin, Lee Seok, Ryu Yeon-seok, and Lee Hyeong-ju fill supporting parts.

Ratings have bounced around: 4.4% (ep. 1), 6.4% (ep. 2), 5.3% (ep. 3), 7.2% (ep. 4), 5.0% (ep. 5), 6.4% (ep. 6). The drama streams on U+ TV Mobile and Disney+.

Nam Goong-min, 48, arrives with serious accolades. He won Daesang at the 2023 MBC Acting Awards for 연인, Best Actor at the 36th Grimae Awards in 2023, and TV Best Actor at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards in 2024. (Three major trophies in two years is a run most actors don't see.) He graduated from Chung-Ang University's Department of Mechanical Engineering before entering the industry.

The weekend drama slot is packed. SBS's 김부장 has dominated with ratings above 20%, while JTBC's 아파트 and tvN's 오싹한 연애 hover around 6%.
