NOWZ returned August 5 with digital single 'Achilles', nine months after their last Korean release.

NOWZ (현빈 Hyun Bin, 윤 Yoon, 연우 Yeon Woo, 진혁 Jin Hyuk, 시윤 Si Yoon) dropped digital single Achilles on August 5, marking their first domestic comeback in approximately nine months. Their last Korean release was Play Ball, featuring title track HomeRUN, in November of last year.
The single reinterprets 1980s punk and disco elements. It centers on the attraction and confused emotions of falling for someone at first sight. Cube Entertainment called the concept "zero sexy" — restrained sensuality — and promised more mature visuals and music from the group. A music video teaser dropped August 4, showing the members in glitter costumes against a retro backdrop.
This lands about five months after NOWZ's Japanese debut mini-album NOWZ in March, led by Japanese-language hip-hop track AMMO (Feat. YRD Leo). They've been busy — just not on home turf.
Promotion kicks off August 6 on Mnet M Countdown. August 9 brings an outdoor busking event at COEX Square in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where they'll perform Achilles alongside earlier hits. The group is also set to perform at the 2026 TMElive International Music Awards at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium on August 22.
