Singer Runch and producer Ahn Sung-hyun marry after 8-year relationship, premiere new song at wedding

Singer Runch (born 1997) and producer Ahn Sung-hyun are getting married on August 8 at a wedding hall in Gangnam, Seoul, closing out an eight-year relationship. Her agency Romantic Factory made the announcement.

The two have been creative partners as well as a couple. Ahn Sung-hyun produced multiple tracks across Runch's discography since her 2019 debut single 기억, 안녕 (featuring O-ban). Her catalog since then includes 나의 이름을 (Love Forever), 어떻게 지내(답가), 미스터 산타 (Mr. Santa), 웨이 백 홈 (Way Back Home, 2021), 너를 생각해 (2022), 다시 만나볼래, and 나를 안아줘 (Love Like VIP). Her most recent work, 디어 산타 (Dear Santa), dropped in November last year.

Ahn Sung-hyun's credits go far beyond Runch. He composed Zico's 너를 생각해 and 아무래도 난. He worked on Vincenzo's FLYING HIGH WITH U, MONSTA X's 널하다, and tripleS's Christmas Alone. His resume spans indie, hip-hop, and idol pop.

At the ceremony, the couple will premiere a new self-composed song built around their own story, giving wedding guests the first listen. (A producer and his artist writing their wedding song together is a very specific kind of flex.) Both will continue their individual music careers after the marriage.
