ATEEZ's San in Milan as 'GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5' tops Billboard 200 with 1.8M first-week sales
San, ATEEZ's main dancer, was in Milan on Sept. 21 as the group's latest mini album hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and shattered their domestic sales record.
Billboard 200 No. 1, 1.8 million copies sold
GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5, ATEEZ's 14th mini album released in June, reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The group sold over 1.8 million copies in the first week domestically—a new personal record. Title track BAD topped major Korean music charts and earned a music-broadcast No. 1 without any broadcast appearances.
The eight-member group consists of Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. They also released their 13th mini album, GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4, earlier this year.
San's September: Milan, Running Man, and a zombie doll
San (최산, 26) is ATEEZ's main dancer and lead vocalist. September was relentless. He flew out through Incheon International Airport on the 21st for Milan Fashion Week. A few days later, on the 26th, he posted a photo with the caption: "I tend to have affection for things that don't change."
Back on September 13, San returned to SBS Running Man for the first time in roughly five years—his last appearance was episode 581 in 2021. He performed the BAD choreography on the show. (Five years between visits does say something.)
On September 20, the experiential horror theme zone Blood City Zero released a 3D zombie doll video with San as the model. He also contributed vocals to Me Crazy & Your Journey, the OST for the animation SEALOOK 2, which came out January 9.
Beyond the stage
San played Minsu in the KBS 2TV drama Imitation back in 2021. He's been studying English for over a year to connect with overseas fans.
