CLOSE YOUR EYES picked up the Next Generation Award at the 2026 SPOTV K-POP AWARDS on September 6. That's 10 rookie awards total—more than any other 2025-debut boy group.

The seven members are Jeon Minwook (전민욱), Ma Jingxiang (마징시앙), Jang Yeojun (장여준), Kim Seongmin (김성민), Song Seungho (송승호), Kenshin (켄신), and Seo Gyeongbae (서경배). Three mini albums in, cumulative sales have crossed 1.2 million copies. Their debut track 내 안의 모든 시와 소설은 scored music broadcast wins. So did Snowy Summer. Then X. The third mini album blackout set their highest sales record yet.

Fourth mini album arrives September 30

256th Note drops September 30 through online music sites. That's roughly five months after the April digital single POSE. A comeback trailer arrives September 8.

UNCORE released the coming-soon poster on September 7. Freely connected lines weave across it. Spontaneous drawings. Figures linked to instruments by a single continuous line. The text reads: "THE 256TH NOTE IS MISSING." Given the album title, the concept is already working overtime.

Ten rookie awards. 1.2 million copies sold. A fourth mini album before year's end.
