Doori performs '서울깍쟁이' at Hwaseong Haenggung amid 1,230-drone show

Three years between trot singles, then a drone show

Doori (봉두리, 34) took the stage at the 2026 화성 사통팔달 어울림 한마당 in Suwon—a festival marking Suwon Visit Year and the 230th anniversary of Hwaseong Fortress—while 1,230 drones painted the sky above 화성행궁.

She performed and MC'd. It was one stop on a marathon evening: the Dobong-gu Makgeolli Festival came first, then the Hwaseong stage.

"함께 해주신 모든 관객 여러분들 사랑합니다 아이러브 수원 화성," Doori wrote afterward. "정말 아름다운 밤이었어요."

'서울 깍쟁이' and the comeback context

Six weeks earlier, on August 6, she'd dropped 서울 깍쟁이—her first trot release in three years. In early September she filmed the 서울깍쟁이 challenge at KBS Studio.

Her older tracks have been quietly gaining traction. 그집앞 crossed 9 million YouTube views. A Facebook clip of her covering Kim Ja-ok's 공주는 외로워 hit 1 million.

From librarian to 미스트롯 finalist

Doori debuted in 2018 with the five-member girl group GBB on GIRLS BE THE BEST. She's from Gwangju and worked as a librarian before switching to music. 내일은 미스트롯 put her on the trot map when she placed 7th in the finals.

Since then she's released the semi-trot unit track 깜빡이 with 정다경 and 박성연 as Venus, and the collaboration 두리 X 태원 - 벚꽃이 오는날 through her YouTube channel. The librarian-to-drone-show arc is genuinely one of trot's more unexpected trajectories.
