EVAN's 'Death of Me' comeback now has a literary partner: he narrates a new essay by saxophonist Brandon Choi for a KT Genie Music x Millie's Library audiobook.
EVAN's comeback gets a literary companion
EVAN is back with Death of Me. On September 17, KT Genie Music and Millie's Library announced a joint project: musicians who've released new songs narrate books that match their music's mood. EVAN is the first.
He picked 조용히 계속하는 사람 (The Person Who Continues Quietly), a new essay by classical saxophonist Brandon Choi. Choi made history as the first classical saxophonist to hold a solo concert at Lincoln Center in New York. The essay moves through illness and frustration, then pivots to pausing, finding breath, building routine, settling into pace. It's about steady living, not chasing results.
The connection to Death of Me is obvious. The title track warns against losing yourself, about moving forward even when things feel like an ending. The audiobook, 책이 보이는 오디오북 (Audiobook with Visible Book), comes in Korean, English, and Japanese.
Two events running through late September
Both platforms are running giveaways tied to the release.

KT Genie Music runs until September 29. An audiobook introduction magazine goes live on the Genie platform, with a coffee gift card giveaway for anticipation comments.
A KT Genie Music official said EVAN "participated in the narration after resonating with the message contained in the book." The project, they added, "will provide a new experience of enjoying music and books together."
