Evan picked up the 'World Best Wave' trophy at the 2026 The Fact Music Awards on September 19 at Busan Asiad Main Stadium. Her first-album run already had the numbers.
500K in 72 hours
DEATH OF ME, her mini 1st album released on the 7th, crossed 500,000 copies sold within three days of release. The album hit number 1 on iTunes 'Top Albums' in 11 countries and regions. It charted on Billboard's 'World Albums', Japan's Oricon 'Daily Album Ranking', and Billboard Japan's major album charts.
What the award means
The 'World Best Wave' category goes to artists who have led the flow of culture. On stage to accept it, Evan kept it direct: "The passionate support from my fandom EVER became my greatest strength."
She also performed at the ceremony. Red LED lighting framed her opening with mini album track 'Not Enough'. Then came the title track 'Death of Me'—refined dance lines, sharp eye contact, a polished set.
