Kim Hye-yoon won Best Actress at the 53rd Korean Broadcasting Awards on Dec. 3—decided entirely by viewer vote for the first time—and is set for SBS 'Good Partner 2' opposite Jang Na-ra.

Kim Hye-yoon took home Best Actress at the 53rd Korean Broadcasting Awards on December 3. The ceremony was held at MBC Open Hall in Sangam-dong, Seoul. She won for playing Eun-ho in SBS Starting Today I Will Be Human, a nine-tailed fox who refuses to become human and anchors the fantasy romance. Lim Ji-yeon and Nam Ji-hyun were also nominated.
This year brought a shift. The award went entirely to 100% online viewer voting—no jury, no panel. The Korean Broadcasting Association used this method for the first time at this ceremony.
Separately, the Korean Consumer Forum announced in September that Kim Hye-yoon won at the 2026 Brand of the Year Awards. She took the domestic female actress film category and the Vietnamese female actress film category.
Kim Hye-yoon released two projects this year. SBS drama Starting Today I Will Be Human. The film Salmonella (살목지). Two very different genres back to back.
Her next confirmed role is SBS Good Partner 2, where she joins Jang Na-ra in the central cast for season two. The show is a legal office drama following Cha Eun-kyung—Korea's first divorce law firm representative lawyer—as she takes on new challenges with a new partner. SBS has it slated for 2026.
She's also attached to Disney+ The Miracle of Namiya Convenience Store.
(Between the awards and two confirmed projects, her schedule through 2026 is packed.)
Before any of that airs, Kim Hye-yoon will attend AAA 2026 (Asia Artist Awards) in the actor category on December 5 to 6 at National Stadium in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
