'Super Shy' hit 904,048,067 plays as of Sept. 4, becoming the third NewJeans track to clear 900M on Spotify — joining 'OMG' and 'Ditto'.

900M and counting
NewJeans' Super Shy crossed 900 million Spotify streams as of September 4. The track logged 904,048,067 cumulative plays. Only OMG and Ditto have done the same for the group, both sitting above 900 million as well.
Released in July 2023 as one of three triple title tracks on the group's second EP Get Up, the Jersey club-influenced track kept pulling streams three years later. It spent 8 weeks on the US Billboard Hot 100 and 9 weeks on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100. The song cracked the top 10 on both the Spotify Global and US Daily Top Songs charts.
The critical record that stuck
Pitchfork named Super Shy the only K-pop entry in its "100 Best Songs of the 2020s." The outlet called it "NewJeans' most effortless masterpiece" and wrote that it "boasts a catchy hook without being too flashy." Billboard, Rolling Stone, The Guardian, NME, and i-D all included it in their best-songs-of-2023 lists.
