P1Harmony's Intac turns Rain's 'Hip Song' into a viral moment — 10M views and counting
A solo fan-meeting stage by Intac snowballed into a Rain collab challenge, an M Countdown special, and 10 million combined views for 'Hip Song.'
One fan-meeting solo that refused to stay contained
It started at a fan meeting. P1Harmony's July event Plus Space H: Horror Haven gave member Intac a solo slot, and he performed Rain's Hip Song. The clip escaped the fandom — combined views across fan fancams and the group's official live clip hit 10 million. The official channel clip alone ranked 8th on YouTube Music's domestic daily popular music video chart and 24th on the weekly chart.
The momentum kept building. On the 2nd, a Hip Song challenge filmed with Rain dropped online. Eight days later, Intac took the stage again on Mnet's M Countdown in a special stage slot, reprising the same performance that had started everything in July.
The group behind the moment
P1Harmony — Kiho, Theo, Jiwung, Intac, Soul, and Jongseop — debuted in 2020 with hip-hop-based music and performance-heavy staging as their foundation. Kiho, Theo, and Jiwung handle vocals. Intac and Jongseop handle rap. Soul's strength sits in performance. Intac and Jongseop have writing credits going back to debut single Siren, and on this year's ninth mini-album Unique they co-wrote every track.
Unique, released in March, entered the Billboard 200 at No. 4 — the group's highest-ever position on that chart. It was their sixth consecutive release to chart on the Billboard 200, a streak that began with 2023's sixth mini-album Harmony: All In. First-week sales on the Hanteo Chart hit 503,745 copies, clearing their previous record.

Why Hip Song landed the way it did
Intac's cover choice wasn't random. Rain's Hip Song sits squarely in the hip-hop-performance lane P1Harmony has occupied since debut. The challenge with Rain himself gave the moment a co-sign from the original artist, and the M Countdown stage extended the story past a one-off clip. Ten million combined views for a fan-meeting cover is not a small number.
