Park Jung-soo and director Jung Eul-young shoot wedding photos after 25 years of common-law marriage

25 years, no paperwork — now a wedding shoot

Actor Park Jung-soo and director Jung Eul-young have been in a common-law marriage since 2001. They never filed for legal registration. Wedding H recently published a photo shoot featuring them on its official channel, captioning it: "The depth of love completed by seasons passed together and countless moments accumulated."

In the photos, Jung Eul-young wore a classic black tuxedo while Park Jung-soo wore a tube-top wedding dress with flower decorations and a short veil. A second set swapped the bridal aesthetic for black leather jackets and sunglasses. Park Jung-soo layered hers over a voluminous white dress.

What she said about skipping the legal step

Park Jung-soo addressed the arrangement on SBS Misaeng Our Youngest in June. "Marriage is when families meet families," she said. At 50, she worried about conflicts arising with the other family and hurting everyone's feelings. Her advice to anyone weighing remarriage: "You really need to think carefully and make a decision."

She debuted in 1972 as part of MBC's 5th public recruitment talent class, married a businessman in 1975, had two children, and divorced by mutual agreement in 1997. She met Jung Eul-young four years later.

Jung Eul-young is the father of actor Jung Kyung-ho. Park Jung-soo has spoken openly about spending time with him like family. She noted on a recent broadcast that Jung Kyung-ho resembles his father not just in looks but in behavior—"He looks exactly like his father." Park Jung-soo has set up a workspace for Jung Eul-young inside her own building, an arrangement that dates back to when he was actively directing productions.
