SBS's '그것이 알고 싶다' posted a public tip request on Sept. 17 for Perry Thomas Borja, a YG founding producer missing since 2010.

SBS investigative program 그것이 알고 싶다 went public on September 17, posting Perry Thomas Borja's past photos on its official social media alongside a call for anyone who knows his current whereabouts or can reach his family.
Perry was born in 1971 in Oakland, California. He arrived in the Korean music scene in the mid-1990s and became one of the architects of YG Entertainment's early hip-hop identity, working alongside Yang Hyun-suk and Teddy to build the label's foundational sound. He produced and composed for Jinusean, 1TYM, Se7en, Wheesung, and Lexy. His work touched tracks featuring G-Dragon, Sean, and Master Wu. He also worked on several songs during BIGBANG's early debut period and released his own solo album in 2001.
His last confirmed YG-related work was Beautiful Hangover, a Japanese-market release from 2010. After being spotted in Los Angeles that same year, he disappeared.
The production team's tip request read: "We are waiting for tips from those who know the current whereabouts of rapper and producer Perry, who has been missing since he was last seen in Los Angeles, USA in 2010, or from those who are in contact with his family."
The case had surfaced once before. In 2021, a social media user claiming to be Perry's nephew announced they had filed a missing persons report with the U.S. State Department. (Sixteen years is a long time to vanish when you shaped a label's entire sound.) Nothing came after that.
그것이 알고 싶다 is now actively soliciting tips through its official channels.
