ZB1's leader drops his first EP three years after group debut. A performance video for 'Killin' Me' arrives September 28.
Three years in, Han-bin goes solo
Sung Han-bin, leader of ZEROBASEONE, is stepping out on his own. His first solo EP, DEAD:ALIVE, drops October 12 across music streaming platforms — three years after he debuted with the group following a second-place finish on Mnet's Boys Planet in 2023.
The rollout kicked off September 22 when the schedule image went live on his official SNS. Pre-orders opened the same day on online music retail sites.

Each piece rolls out sequentially ahead of the October 12 album release.
The concept: self-transcendence
DEAD:ALIVE centers on "self-transcendence" — not stopping in the face of fear, breaking through the limits that have held him back, and arriving at a new version of himself. It's a deliberate pivot from his identity as ZB1's leader, presenting something distinct from the group's sound and performance style.
(Three years of carrying a group will do that — the solo era is where you find out what's actually his.)
