BABYMONSTER drops pop ballad 'Deserve' on Oct. 23, new album set for early 2027
BABYMONSTER drops a retro pop ballad on Oct. 23 with soaring high notes. Fifth release this year, ahead of a new album in early 2027.
Fifth release of the year, and it's a ballad
BABYMONSTER releases Deserve, a new digital single, on October 23. It's the group's fifth release of 2026. Genre shift: Deserve is a pop ballad built on lyrical synth melodies and a retro mood—a sharp turn from what they've been doing.
The track opens with a gradually building emotional arc that pulls listeners in from the intro, then hits explosive high notes in the chorus and bridge. (Retro synth ballad with belt moments is a high-wire act, and BABYMONSTER's vocal range makes it worth the risk.)
World tour running, album coming
The single drops while the group is mid-run on their second world tour, Dance (춤), which spans 5 continents, 18 cities, and 31 shows. A new album is scheduled for early 2027. Deserve is a bridge release—keeping the group active between tour legs and the upcoming full project.
Five releases in a single calendar year. A world tour across five continents. An album on the horizon. BABYMONSTER's 2026-into-2027 run is moving fast.
