CORTIS member Martin's Weverse post exposes agency-drafted caption amid live performance controversy
Martin's Oct. 15 Weverse post thanking 7 million members looked suspiciously like leaked internal instructions—awkward timing as CORTIS faces live vocal criticism.

The post that gave it away
CORTIS member Martin posted on Weverse on October 15. The wording was off. "Yes, confirmed. Please upload only this one photo with the caption below!" — it read like someone had forgotten to delete the production notes before hitting send.
After that came the actual message: thanks to the platform's 7 million community members, a shout-out to the group's fanbase CORE (which stands for CORTIS's fandom). "I love CORE," Martin wrote.
The timing stung. The five-member group—Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, and Gunho—was already taking heat over off-pitch live vocals.
Where CORTIS is in their current run
They've been busy. Second mini album GREENGREEN in May. Solo concerts at Incheon Inspire Arena on July 18 and 19. A performance at Music Bank in Barcelona, filmed September 12 and aired on KBS October 7.
7 million on Weverse is legitimate. The announcement just wasn't.
