Epik High x Davichi's "Mise-en-scène" hits #1 on YouTube MV chart two days after release
Epik High and Davichi's first collaboration single hit YouTube's music video chart #1 within 48 hours of its October 13 release.

Hip-hop meets ballad meets rock — and the chart agrees
미장센 (Mise-en-scène) topped YouTube's music video chart two days after dropping on October 13. The debut collaboration from hip-hop group Epik High and female duo Davichi landed at #2 on music charts, with strong placements on Melon and other major streaming platforms.
The track frames a breakup as a film scene. Epik High's narrative lyricism layers over Davichi's vocals, built on a synth intro with a nostalgic melody. Hip-hop, ballad, and rock elements share the same song. Kim Han-joo (김한주) of indie rock band Silica Gel wrote, composed, and arranged it.
From YouTube content to a proper single
This marks their first official song together, though the connection runs deeper. Last October they appeared on Epik High's YouTube channel EPIKASE. That content collab apparently stuck.
Two KSPO DOME runs incoming
Both acts have Seoul arena dates locked in. Davichi plays KSPO DOME on December 12 and 13, 2026. Epik High follows from January 22 to 24, 2027 — their first solo KSPO DOME concert. Two groups, one venue, back-to-back months.
