Eric Nam drops 4th studio album 'Confessions of a Lonely Heart' — 9 tracks, 3 years in the making
Eric Nam's first studio album since September 2023 arrives with 9 tracks tracing obsession, regret, and hope — and a title track called 'Psycho'.

3 years, 1 month, 9 songs
Eric Nam released his 4th studio album Confessions of a Lonely Heart on October 16 across online music platforms. His first studio album in approximately 3 years and 1 month, following House on a Hill in September 2023.
The 9-track record moves as a single emotional arc: obsession and regret giving way to self-blame, then acceptance, then something like hope. He wrote and composed across the full album, keeping his singer-songwriter credit intact.
'Psycho' leads the arc
Title track Psycho is the entry point into that spiral. Strong attraction curdles into obsession, control slips away, and the narrator chooses to frame all of it as love anyway. The track builds through an escalating chorus to land somewhere on the border between love and madness.
The rest of the tracklist maps the journey: Reverie traces the desire to stay inside a fantasy. Miss Me More is about hoping an ex feels the gap left behind. Sober Up captures longing through intoxication, solitude waiting on the other side. Make Me Cry hits the moment of emotional collapse. How The Fire Started roots emotions in betrayal. Then Lighthouse, Half As Much, and Someday — the closing track, turning back toward love and hope to finish the album's emotional line.
The 'Traitors' track that started it
How The Fire Started was already out in March, and it came with context. Eric Nam reinterpreted his experience of betrayal on the American Peacock survival program The Traitors Season 4 through both the song and its music video. He made it to the final three before getting eliminated. The MV featured actual cast members from the show, including winner Rob Rausch.
The full album now gives that track a home inside a longer story.
Cheer the story
