Im Young-woong's second album IM HERO 2 reached 1.6 billion cumulative streams on Melon by the end of September—roughly 13 months after dropping on August 29, 2025.
The numbers reveal a pattern. It hit 1.4 billion on July 13. Then 100 million more in 30 days to reach 1.5 billion on August 12. The next 100 million took about 49 days. Late September brought it to 1.6 billion. The six tracks are 순간을 영원처럼, ULSSIGU (얼씨구), 들꽃이 될게요, 비가 와서, 돌아보지 마세요, and 알겠어요 미안해요.
10th-anniversary album goes 1-2 on Melon HOT100
September 8 brought IM HERO 10, a special digital album for his 10th debut anniversary. Ten tracks mixing new songs with newly arranged versions of older fan favorites.
Title track 또또—written and composed by Im Young-woong himself—debuted at No. 1. 모이세 landed at No. 2. The rest: Baila, 부디 행복해질 것, 살아온 우리에게, and New York. By end of September, IM HERO 10 had logged approximately 112.9 million cumulative streams. It crossed 100 million roughly 22 days after release.
14.6 billion total streams on Melon
Im Young-woong's all-time Melon count exceeded 14.5 billion in mid-September, then pushed past 14.6 billion by month's end. Two albums running simultaneously will do that. Both IM HERO 2 and IM HERO 10 are stacking numbers in real time, with the older album still pulling nine-figure stream jumps more than a year after it dropped.
