Loco announces new single 'TATA' with mystery feature, out October 15
Loco teases 'TATA (Feat. of ???)', dropping October 15—his first release under new agency DuoberEntertainment. The feature artist? Still a mystery.

'TATA' lands October 15 — and nobody knows who's on it
Loco (real name Kwon Hyuk-woo, 36) is releasing a new single, TATA, on October 15, 2026. The teaser is stark: white background, three lines reading "Loco", "TATA(Feat. of ???)", and the release timestamp. The feature artist stays hidden.
This marks his first release under DuoberEntertainment, a recent signing after roughly two years running his own one-man operation, Locomotive. During that independent stretch he dropped his third full-length album SCRAPS, the single 축축 (demo), and took the SCRAPS TOUR to domestic and international fans. Since September he's also released Get Drunk, Get Money! through music platforms.
From SMTM champion to back-to-back chart #1s
Loco debuted in 2012 with See The Light after winning the inaugural season of SHOW ME THE MONEY. His 2014 EP LOCOMOTIVE featured Crush, Park Jae-beom, GRAY, and ELO on tracks like 니가 모르게 and 감아.
The 2017 debut full-length BLEACHED included 지나쳐, MOVIE SHOOT, and DA DA DA—all racking up millions of views. Then two chart-toppers came in quick succession. 주지마, his 2018 collaboration with Hwasa, hit #1 on both Melon and Gaon monthly rankings. The The Girl Who Sees Smells OST 우연히 봄, a duet with Yoojoo, also reached #1. He followed with EP HELLO in 2019 and EP SOME TIME in 2020, then released his second full-length WEAK on October 17, 2023.
He donated 30 million won toward Gangwon Province wildfire recovery in 2019. Another 30 million won went to infectious disease prevention support in 2020.
What's coming after the drop
Two days after TATA drops, Loco performs at HEARTBEAT BY DUDUDO 2026 on October 17 and 18 at Korea University's Hwajung Gymnasium in Seoul.
