MEOVV x Alarmy: 'GO HARD' video alarm drops globally, free for all users

MEOVV wakes you up with 'GO HARD'

Alarmy dropped a MEOVV video alarm on October 16. The five-member girl group's new single GO HARD pairs with a daily wake-up feature available free worldwide—not just South Korea, the United States, and Japan.

Users who select the MEOVV alarm hear GO HARD plus the members' voices every morning. A MEOVV-themed wake-up mission is built into the alarm-off process. Alarmy will raffle unreleased photocards among users who set the alarm, with event dates and entry details posted to Alarmy's official Instagram.

4 months since BITE NOW, now a two-track single

MEOVV—Suin, Gawon, Anna, Narin, and Ella—released GO HARD roughly four months after their second EP BITE NOW in June. The single carries two tracks: title track GO HARD and b-side Indestructible. They performed GO HARD on an MBC music program on October 17 and plan to continue music activities around the single.

The platform behind the alarm

Alarmy, operated by Delightroom (CEO Shin Jae-myung), ranks No. 1 in wake-up apps across 160 countries. Around 10 million monthly active users. Approximately 14 million alarms play per day. About 3.5 million of those users are in the United States, and 63% of the total user base is aged 10 to 20.

Previous IP collabs hint at scale. A Hwasan Gwihwan (Naver Webtoon) video alarm released in April logged 400,000 alarm settings and 18 million cumulative exposures. The app's in-house wake-up song Yar Song has been used in over 650,000 alarms, with more than 50 artist teams joining its cover challenge.

Shin said, "The alarm is the sound that 10-20 year-olds worldwide encounter first every morning." He wanted to give users a special daily experience of meeting new music repeatedly rather than hearing it once and moving on. Delightroom plans to expand partnerships with K-pop artists, webtoons, and global characters off the back of this MEOVV collaboration.
