Musical Rebecca drops new cast MVs featuring Lee A-reum-sol and Kim Woo-hyung ahead of November run
EMK Musical Company released two new cast music videos for Rebecca in late September, with the new season opening November 24 at Chungmu Art Center.

Two MVs, two leads, one comeback season
EMK Musical Company dropped a pair of new cast music videos for the Korean production of Rebecca in late September. Lee A-reum-sol (이아름솔), cast as Mrs. Danvers, appeared in the video for the signature number Rebecca ACT2 on September 23. Kim Woo-hyung (김우형), cast as Maxim de Winter, followed five days later with his video for Gott, warum? (신이여) on September 28.
Lee's casting carries some weight. She previously performed in Rebecca as an ensemble member, and this season marks her return to the production in the lead role of Mrs. Danvers.
The show behind the numbers
Rebecca is adapted from British author Daphne du Maurier's novel of the same name by playwright Michael Kunze and composer Sylvester Levay. It premiered in Vienna, Austria in 2006 and has since logged over 3,200 performances across 15 countries in 12 languages.
The Korean run started in 2013. Seven seasons later, the production has passed 1 million cumulative audience members — the first EMK Musical Company title to hit that mark. At the Korean premiere, Rebecca won five awards at the 7th The Musical Awards: directing, stage design, lighting, sound, and supporting actress.
