NCT's Jisung admits his company told him not to use the slang term 'jwejweiya'
Jisung revealed on NCT Dream Weverse that SM Entertainment told him not to use the trending slang '줴줴이야' after a fan brought it up.

Jisung got caught off guard on Weverse
NCT's Jisung was live on the NCT Dream Weverse community when a fan typed the slang term 줴줴이야 (jwejweiya) and asked if he knew it. He did—kind of.
"줴줴이야? This is something I was told not to do," he said, trailing off. "Isn't it something like that?"
The hesitation said everything. SM Entertainment had flagged the term and told him to avoid it.
SM's pattern with slang
Jisung isn't alone. Hatsutohats member Carmen hit the same restriction on Mnet Plus's Idols Table, where she held back and noted that 야르 "was said to be a bad word." Two SM acts. Two separate slang terms. Same result—the company drawing a line before the idol can cross it on camera.
(Whether that's brand protection or something else is a question the companies aren't answering.)
Jisung's live confession is already circulating. Watching an idol caught between fan culture and agency rules in real time is exactly what Weverse lives are for.
