NCT's Jisung joins Crash 2 as rookie cop; drama premieres November 16 on ENA
ENA's traffic-crime sequel expands T.C.I from a local precinct to a nationwide unit, with NCT's Park Jisung joining the returning cast.
T.C.I goes national
Crash 2 (크래시2 : 분노의 도로) premieres November 16 on ENA, with simulcast availability on KT Genie TV and Disney+. Park Jun-woo directs. Oh Su-jin wrote it. KT Studio Genie planned it, and Ace Story produces.
Season 1 ranked second in all-time ENA drama viewership when it aired. The sequel shifts the Namgang Police Station traffic crime unit T.C.I into the National Investigation Service as a wide-area investigation team, now handling traffic crime cases across the country.
The cast, returning and new
Lee Min-gi returns as Cha Yeon-ho, with what the production describes as "human AI"-level analytical ability—he spots the causes of incidents without missing a clue. Kwak Sun-young is back as Min So-hee, deploying practical martial arts and relentless investigative instinct. Heo Sung-tae plays Jeong Chae-man, T.C.I's dependable backbone. Lee Ho-cheol plays Woo Dong-gi, a traffic crime analyst whose rough exterior masks a gentle nature. Moon Hee plays Eo Hyeon-gyeong, sharp at information-gathering and skilled in martial arts.
Park Jisung from NCT (지성) is the season's big addition. He plays Jidae-se, a rookie officer at Namgang Police Station's traffic division who idolizes T.C.I. An idol playing a character the precinct calls its "idol"—the casting does heavy lifting.
The production team expects the expanded scope to change everything. "The traffic crimes T.C.I faces will become more sophisticated and the scale will grow," they said. "Expect T.C.I's relentless pursuit and stronger teamwork to eliminate increasingly complex crimes."
