NiziU drop first Korean mini album 'Sour Grapes,' MV crosses 15.87M YouTube views
NiziU dropped their first Korean mini album 'Sour Grapes' on September 28—their first Korean comeback in roughly 1 year 6 months—and the MV hit 15.87M YouTube views in 9 days.

NiziU's first Korean mini album, 1 year 6 months in the making
NiziU released Sour Grapes on September 28. It's their first Korean mini album, built around the same-titled title track and their Korean comeback after roughly 1 year 6 months. The last Korean release was the single album LOVE LINE in March 2025.
The title track borrows from Aesop's fable "The Fox and the Grapes," reframing it as a declaration of jumping boldly into choices others hesitate over. Lullaby closes out the album—a pop ballad built on lyrical melody.
15.87M views and a steady content rollout
The music video crossed 15.87 million YouTube views by the afternoon of October 7. Nine days after release. JYP Entertainment kept the momentum going through NiziU's official SNS channels, dropping a cheering guide, a title track MV reaction, recording behind-the-scenes footage, and a choreography practice video in sequence.
The Sour Grapes performance video had a teaser on September 18, ten days before the comeback, with the full version following later. On October 6 and 7, a track video for Lullaby and the Sour Grapes performance video were released on consecutive afternoons.
(First Korean mini album after years of Japanese releases—this one's been a long time coming for fans waiting on a proper Korean-market push.)
Cheer the story
