Park Woo-jin returns with second EP 'SOLSTICE' after 1 year 5 months

1 year 5 months, a new label, and a title track built on bass

SOLSTICE arrives October 13 at 6 PM. Park Woo-jin's second EP marks his first album since April 2025's Cool & Hot and his debut with Para Music.

The four tracks take their name from the solar extreme—that moment when the sun reaches its yearly peak and the season pivots. The concept traces Park Woo-jin's movement toward new possibilities, layering anxiety and doubt into challenges he's reframed as growth. Sonically, he's pushing harder into vocals alongside the rap and performance work that define him.

Four tracks, three writing credits

The tracklist:

  • STAMINA (title track) — tech house; rough-processed bass, sharp synth, Park Woo-jin's mid-low register
  • SYNCOPATION — upbeat rap and repeating chants; freedom from fixed frameworks
  • 돌아와 — R&B; alternating rap and vocal; regret and longing, delivered calmly
  • C-119 (feat. TWLV) — pop rock featuring TWLV; liberation from wounds and regret

Park Woo-jin wrote lyrics on three of the four tracks, including the title. On 돌아와, he took sole lyric-writing credit and co-composition—the track where his sensibility sits most directly on the page.

STAMINA is tech house. Driving beat, roughly processed bass, sharp synth layer. The mid-low voice carries through the whole thing, described as conveying the energy to keep moving toward what he wants without burning out. (Tech house and a mid-low baritone either work immediately or they don't—the teaser suggests it does.)

A music video teaser for STAMINA dropped October 12 on the official SNS. Park Woo-jin appears with intense eyes and a free-spirited presence across different spaces.

Showcase same night

Park Woo-jin holds a comeback showcase October 13 at 8 PM, two hours after the album goes live.
