RESCENE holds K탑스타 Best Rookie top spot for 4 straight weeks ahead of Nov. 3 mini album 'PULSE'
RESCENE claimed K탑스타's 'Best Rookie (Female)' title for the fourth week running. Mini album 4 'PULSE' arrives November 3.

Four weeks at the top, one album on the way
RESCENE has held the K탑스타 'Best Rookie (Female)' title for four straight weeks. The 117th voting cycle, September 28 to October 5, put them at No. 1 again. KIRAS placed second, HADES third.
The group's name carries its own story: "recalling a scene through fragrance," with RE and SCENE as the building blocks. They debuted with uhuh, then LOVE ATTACK, Pinball, and Deja Vu. A remake single, Pretty Girl, came in July. Before that, mini album 3 lip bomb dropped in November of last year. So PULSE on November 3 is their return to a full project cycle.
The discography gap 'PULSE' closes
Nearly a year sits between lip bomb and PULSE. The July remake kept them in the conversation, but November 3 is when full comeback activities start. Four consecutive rookie chart wins heading into that release is solid ground. (The chart run started before the album announcement, which means the momentum is organic, not promo-driven.)
Elsewhere in the 117th K탑스타 cycle: Jang Han-byeol (장한별) took 'Best Trot (Male)' with Seong-ri (성리) second and Kim Ho-jung (김호중) third. In 'Best Trot (Female)', Kim Ui-young (김의영) held No. 1 for a second consecutive week. She broke Hong Ji-yoon's streak in the previous cycle. Hong Ji-yoon placed second this time, Jang Yun-jeong (장윤정) third.
