Roy Kim drops 'Cry Out Loud,' his third consecutive October single
Roy Kim dropped '크게 울어라' on October 6, his third straight autumn single. A Seoul KSPO DOME tour kicks off later this month.

Three Octobers in a row
Roy Kim released 크게 울어라 ("Cry Out Loud") on October 6 across online music platforms. It's his third consecutive October single, following 내게 사랑이 뭐냐고 물어본다면 in 2024 and 달리 표현할 수 없어요 in 2025. Autumn drop szn is officially his thing.
He explained the thinking: "It's easy to think holding back tears is the mature thing to do, but it also takes courage to acknowledge your sadness and express it fully. If you keep suppressing your emotions, the wounds stay inside — but after you've cried enough and let the grief pass, you can find the strength to move forward again."
The song carries another idea too: "fully living through your own pain is what eventually gives you the depth to understand someone else's grief and reach out to them." Roy Kim was clear that 크게 울어라 "is not a song telling you to stay in sadness — it's a song hoping you'll hurt as much as you need to, then rise back up stronger."
Six actors, one short film
A short film accompanies the release, featuring six actors in sequence: Choo Young-woo (추영우), Ok Taecyeon (옥택연), Park Hyung-sik (박형식), Lee Jong-suk (이종석), Cha Tae-hyun (차태현), and Jung Sung-il (정성일). That's a stacked cast for a music short film.
Seoul KSPO DOME, three nights
Roy Kim will hold 2026-27 로이킴 LIVE TOUR [R:O:Y] in SEOUL at Seoul KSPO DOME — formerly the Olympic Gymnastics Arena — across three consecutive dates: October 20, October 21, and October 22.
The single is out now. The tour opens in two weeks.
