Casey joins challenge for new single 'Happy&ing' and wants a suitcase

Casey (Kim So-yeon, 30) is participating in a challenge tied to her new single 이보다 행복할 수 있을까 (Happy&ing). "I also want to participate in the challenge," she said. "I want to receive a suitcase."

Her catalog runs back to 2015, when she dropped the digital single 침대 위에서 (In My Bed). The track 그때가 좋았어 hit chart-reversal status and stuck around. Her first mini album, 사랑받고 싶어, landed in 2018. Then came Rewind, 추(秋)억), 옛이야기, 추운날, and Full Bloom—her sixth mini album in 2024.

Outside music, Casey has been everywhere. She went up against rappers on Mnet's Unpretty Rapstar 3. She played defender for FC Balladream on SBS's Goal-Kicking Girls. In 2024 she led the cast of drama 매일 재회해 드립니다 as Lee Na-rae. She remade BoA's 늦은 후회 and has kept up with performances and solo concerts.

Her awards shelf holds the female vocal category at the Brand of the Year Awards, Ballad Discovery of the Year at the Gaon Chart Music Awards, the R&B Hip-Hop Award at the Highone Seoul Music Awards, and the K-POP Singer Award at the Korea Culture Entertainment Awards.
