The JTBC office melodrama starring Kim So-yeon and Kim Ji-seok halted production 12 days after its cast was confirmed, citing incomplete scripts and the monsoon season.

Love Rediscovered (연애의 재발견) is pausing production for one month. On June 22, cast and crew learned filming would stop so the script could be refined—only episodes 1 and 2 had wrapped when shooting started.
The production team said: "We will take a one-month refinement period to improve the completeness of the script." The rainy season played a role too. They denied any link to JTBC's financial troubles.
The timing raises questions. JTBC announced the four-person cast on June 10: Kim So-yeon, Kim Ji-seok, Yoon Hyun-min, and Hwang Woo-seul-hye. Twelve days later, production stopped. Two days before that cast reveal, on June 12, JTBC declared default after failing to repay 20.6 billion won in securitized borrowings. June 14 brought filings for corporate rehabilitation: Joongang Holdings, Contenttree Central, Megabox Joongang, and Joongang P&I all went to Seoul Rehabilitation Court. JTBC filed on June 15, the same day Joongang Group vice chairman Hong Jung-do held a press conference at the Joongang Ilbo Building in Mapo-gu, Seoul, and read an apology statement on behalf of top management.
Seoul Rehabilitation Court assigned all five companies to Rehabilitation Division 2. A representative examination hearing is scheduled for June 23.
The drama follows a divorced couple who share a house and end up working at the same hotel, slowly rediscovering each other. It's a lifestyle-focused office melodrama co-produced by SLL (a Contenttree Central subsidiary now under court receivership), Studio Him, and Alchemista Media. JTBC still targets a second-half 2026 air date.
