EPEX drop 7th mini album 'Sowha: Epilogue' 11 months after last release, closing out youth series

EPEX released their seventh mini album 소화(韶華): Epilogue on June 9, closing out the youth series they built across three full-length albums starting in 2024.

Eleven months had passed since their last release. The timing felt deliberate—June 9 landed one day after the group's fifth debut anniversary on June 8, 2021. The agency confirmed this marked the first album since debut where all seven members—Wish, Moo, Amin, Baekseung, Aiden, Yewang, and Jeff—directly participated in production.

The four tracks open with ECHO, co-written by Jeff, Baekseung, and Aiden. Those three handled lyrics and composition across the entire album. 매일의 내일 carries a hopeful message set at the boundary between childhood and adulthood, with Wish and Amin contributing choreography. BOYS IN THE BAND builds around freely shifting rhythm and groove. 사랑 아직 잘 몰라도 pairs direct lyrics about wanting only one person with EPEX's signature energetic chant lines. Moo handled album styling. Yewang took on recording direction.

The ECHO music video dropped alongside the audio, depicting the group's journey toward liberation. On the evening of June 9, EPEX held a comeback fan showcase at SBS Deungchon-dong Public Hall in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.

Every member's name in the credits. Five years behind them. 소화: Epilogue is the group putting a deliberate period on one chapter of their discography.
