Hwang Chi Yeul drops first-ever summer album 'I LOVE SUMMER' on June 26

Hwang Chi Yeul's debut summer album I LOVE SUMMER drops June 26 across music platforms.

It pairs with I LOVE WINTER, his December 2023 winter album. Five tracks: title track 우리, 여름 (Our Summer), 숨 참고 네 이름 (Breath), 여름에 말할게 (Love, Summer), 여름이 불어와 (Summer Drive), and 너를 아프게 하던 내가 제일 미워지는 밤이야 (Unsaid). The album traces stories from the beginning of love through the emotions that follow a breakup.

Our Summer leans on cool guitar paired with lyrics meant to capture a deep midsummer sensibility. The track opens with: "다시 돌아갈 순 없어 / 그래도 생각나면 그땐" (We can't go back / but when I remember, back then). Later: "우리 뜨거웠던 여름 / 모든 게 처음이었던 / 잊히지 않는 우리의 온도" (Our burning summer / when everything was a first / the warmth of us that won't fade).

Ten2 Entertainment posted a lyric poster for Our Summer on June 17 via the agency's official SNS. Three days later, a one-minute beach-version preview landed on the label's YouTube channel.

Hwang Chi Yeul will perform the album live at the 2026 HWANG CHI YEUL CONCERT 우리, 여름 on July 4 at Nodeul Island Live House in Seoul. (First summer album, first summer concert — the season arc is very much intentional.)
