Ji Ye-eun pushes back on dating questions mid-collab video: "Why are you talking about this?"

Ji Ye-eun confirmed she's dating dancer Bata in April — and she's clearly not ready to make it a talk-show segment.

On June 17, the two appeared together in a video on the Nonghyup Bank official YouTube channel, ostensibly to work on a card design. Gi An-84, who had been tasked with the design, invited Ji Ye-eun to help. Things went sideways fast: Gi An-84 opened by mentioning that a dating-rumor article had dropped the day before.

Ji Ye-eun smiled shyly and confirmed it — "That's right. I'd appreciate your support" — then added, with a laugh, "I'm 33 years old, so shouldn't I be dating?" The room reportedly burst out laughing. Then Gi An-84 suggested they move seats to talk more, and started hinting at a possible next step given that the couple met through a church gathering. Ji Ye-eun shut it down: "You said you'd draw pictures — why are we talking about this?"

Her agency announced the relationship that April. They said the two "colleagues have good feelings for each other and are meeting," and asked fans for "warm support." Bata was born in 1994, same as Ji Ye-eun. He leads dance crew We Dem Boyz and got wider recognition through Mnet's Street Man Fighter in 2022. The two met through a church gathering and moved from friends to a couple.

On Tteun Tteun last month, Ji Ye-eun told host Yoo Jae-suk that she calls Bata jagi (honey) and he calls her gangaduyi (puppy). Bata also assisted her at her 2025 Water Bomb stage performance.
