Seoul punk trio SAILOR HONEYMOON drop a new single and debut album produced by Luke Smith, arriving August 14 via Good Good 굿굿 Records and PIAS.

SAILOR HONEYMOON released I Wanna Leave You on June 29. Their debut full-length The Worst Of Sailor Honeymoon drops August 14 worldwide through their own imprint Good Good 굿굿 Records and PIAS.
The three-piece started in Seoul's underground DIY scene. Drummer/vocalist Abi Raymaker (장인화), guitarist/vocalist 신재은, and bassist 김예림 — a photographer, a former DJ, and a bassist. Luke Smith produced the 13-track album. Claudius Mittendorfer mixed it. Katie Tavini mastered it. The production credits read less like a K-indie budget and more like a full international operation.
Two tracks cut deeper than the rest. Extinction addresses modern Korean social pressure and inevitability. Red was inspired by Korean medicinal candy—specifically red ginseng candy. (That's a very particular muse.)
Raymaker was direct about what they're after: "We don't need to be perfect. We just want to create something meaningful." She pointed to how Korean cultural exports face strict visual and sonic standards. "We wanted to create something that feels more human."
The band plans to tour large-scale domestic and international festivals this summer.
