TWICE's Sana is making her acting debut as the lead in *Nyangi*, a Korean-Japanese co-production directed by Kwon Hyuk-chan. Filming starts in Japan later this year.

TWICE member Sana has signed on as lead actress in Nyangi (working title), a Korean-Japanese co-production film. She stars opposite Japanese actor Takeru Sato, with Kwon Hyuk-chan directing. Filming is scheduled to begin in Japan in the second half of this year.
The announcement came alongside photos Sana posted on August 14 from a Jo Malone London brand event, where she posed with a green character sculpture at the brand's space.
Sana (Minato Zaki Sana, 29) is from Osaka, Japan, and debuted with TWICE in 2015 on EP THE STORY BEGINS. The nine-member group includes Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. Recent releases span Korean mini-albums With YOU-th and STRATEGY (both 2024), Korean full-length THIS IS FOR and special album TEN: The Story Goes On (both 2025), Japanese albums DIVE (2024) and ENEMY (2025), plus English singles "The Feels," "MOONLIGHT SUNRISE," and "I GOT YOU."
TWICE also ran their world tour THIS IS FOR across North America and Japan, including a solo date at Tokyo National Stadium.
On the solo front, Sana released Japanese digital single Sotsugyou (2021) and contributed to OSTs Bouquet (2023) and Message (2025). This is her first acting role.
