Sung Hanbin holds first-ever solo fan meeting three years after debut, leads ZEROBASEONE into US release

Sung Hanbin held his first solo fan meeting since debut on June 13 at Sejong University Daeyang Hall in Seoul, running two sessions under the title Hanbin's Birthday Party [Who stole Hanbin's Cake?].

The concept was a detective mystery. Hanbin played 'Detective Bin' hunting down a stolen birthday cake while fans joined as the 'Cake Investigation Team' to solve it alongside him. "Thanks to you, this became one of the happiest birthdays of my life," he told the crowd.

Hanbin finished 2nd on Mnet's Boys Planet in 2023 and debuted as leader of ZEROBASEONE, a nine-member group. The group recently reorganized into a five-member lineup after four members under YH Entertainment (formerly Wehua) did not renew their contracts with Wakeone. He remains leader.

The timing lands during a busy stretch for him personally. He MC'd World of Street Woman Fighter last year and is hosting Street World Fighter: Directors War, premiering in August.

On the group side, ZEROBASEONE's sixth mini-album ASCEND- has been charting across Asia. It hit No. 1 on Japan's Oricon weekly Western music album chart, Japan iTunes Top Songs K-POP chart, Japan Spotify Rising Chart, and China's QQ Music digital album mini-album chart. The group is set to officially release ASCEND- in the United States on the 26th local time.
