Virtual boy group B THE HOOD charts on YouTube Shorts with debut pre-release 'Lowkey'

B THE HOOD landed on YouTube Shorts' daily chart at rank 21 on June 29, the same day their pre-release single Lowkey dropped.

By July 2, the track had climbed to rank 14. The June 26–July 2 weekly chart logged Lowkey at rank 34.

The song pairs heavy trap drums with a dreamy 1980s lo-fi synth. The five members—Eon, Jace, PER B, Kyryu, and Luan—are positioned as a next-generation global virtual act. Lowkey is the first in a planned sequence of pre-release content ahead of a full debut. (Virtual idol groups have grown in K-pop, but charting on Shorts within days of a first single is an early signal.)

LEVVELS said "diverse debut content" combining the group's "trendy sensibility and high-end technology" will be unveiled sequentially. The production team is also planning to expand the group's activity stage through music-and-video releases.
