Baek A-yeon on her first music show in 2+ years: "I was shaking the whole time"

Baek A-yeon is back with digital single 들어봐, her first release in 2 years and 7 months.

She appeared on KBS Cool FM's Oh My Girl Hyojung's Volume Up on July 20 alongside Kim Su-young. The conversation turned to her first music show performance, and she didn't sugarcoat it. "I wasn't emotional but I was nervous and did my first broadcast very shakily," she said. Viewers apparently noticed. She's already texted her manager about needing supplements like Hwan before the next one.

One silver lining to the long absence: every broadcast assigned her the number-one waiting room. "It's the first time I've used a waiting room ahead of the production staff," she said. (Seniority has its perks.)

The current music show format threw her off. "I haven't been able to adapt since the broadcast challenge started," she admitted.

Baek A-yeon debuted in 2012 with the album I'm Baek after coming up through SBS K-Pop Star Season 1.
