Close Your Eyes open ACON 2026 in Taipei with 6-song set and NEXZ collab

Close Your Eyes took the opening slot at ACON 2026 on July 25 at NTSU Arena (林口體育館) in Taipei — the official pre-show for the Asia Artist Awards, hosted by Star News and organized by the AAA Organizing Committee (Chair: Park Jun-chul), MOTIVE, and D-SHOW.

The seven members — Jeon Min-uk, Ma Jingxiang, Jang Yeo-jun, Kim Sung-min, Song Seung-ho, Kenshin, and Seo Kyung-bae — opened with X and POSE. They shifted into a reinterpreted cover of EXO's Overdose, then CHIC and SOB. Jang Yeo-jun, Song Seung-ho, and Seo Kyung-bae broke out for a unit stage performing Michael Jackson's Dangerous. The set closed with a special collaboration alongside NEXZ on Jackson's Thriller.

This year's theme is "youth" (청춘). The group said: "We prepared the stage with our energy and passion to match the main theme of 'youth'. Please enjoy it all together."

The Taipei show lands at a notable point for Close Your Eyes. They earned nine rookie awards across domestic award ceremonies — the most for any male idol group that debuted in 2025. They have also appeared on Billboard critics' 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2026 So Far list for two consecutive years.
