ENHYPEN wraps San Diego Comic-Con 2026 with 'DARK MOON' panel and off-site show
ENHYPEN sat down with Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke at SDCC 2026's Ballroom 20 on July 23, then performed five songs at an off-site vampire-themed event the next night.
ENHYPEN spent July 23–24 (local time) at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, building both days around the Hive original story DARK MOON.
On July 23, they claimed Ballroom 20 for the official SDCC panel "Bite Me: Calling All Vampires." Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke sat alongside them, as did actors Peter Facinelli and Ashley Greene. Jake made the link explicit: "'Twilight' built a massive worldview that opened people's eyes, so we were able to fully express vampires through K-pop music."
Jay walked the room through DARK MOON's setup at the panel. Boys who start as knights protecting Princess Celine become blood-bound brothers after turning into vampires. Jake added that those vampires face hunters later on. He described the emotional pull in the music as "the precarious boundary" between fear and the thrill of not being caught.
Jungwon brought up the webtoon characters. They were built from the members' real personalities. "While watching the webtoon, there were many times we felt the characters were more like us than we are," he said.
July 24 brought a shift in venue. House of Blues hosted "DARK MOON BLOOD NIGHT with ENHYPEN," with American broadcaster JoJo Lightfoot running the show. Vampire dress code was required. They played Bite Me, Karma, Brought the Heat Back, CRIMINAL LOVE, and Drunk-Dazed. A Vampire Queen Contest and quiz segment kept the crowd moving.
Jake didn't see it coming. The group had just wrapped their first solo concert in San Diego before heading straight into Comic-Con. (Back-to-back scheduling hits different, even in K-pop.)
ENHYPEN's mini album 8, THE SIN : BLISS, drops August 21. Jake said it "contains many new vampire elements" and called it one of their representative works.
