Evan's 'RIDE OR DIE' hits #1 on Bugs and iTunes in 8 regions; mini album due September

Evan's debut single RIDE OR DIE landed at No. 1 on Bugs' real-time chart on June 22, 2026. It peaked at No. 5 on Melon Hot100, topped iTunes Top Songs in eight countries and regions, and claimed No. 1 on Tencent Music's weekly Korean chart in China.

The music video hit 10 million YouTube views in 44 hours. The single pairs title track "Ride or Die"—alternative rock—with B-side "Overflow," an easy-listening indie pop track. Evan wrote lyrics, handled production, and directed both visuals.

A debut documentary dropped July 18. Evan reflected on recording, saying it brought back "the same emotion as 10 years ago" from his trainee days—a time he described as rapid improvement, achievement, and happiness.

The calendar's stacked. He performs at 2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer in August, then Los Angeles for a Grammy Museum Spotlight stage on September 14 and KCON LA 2026 on September 16. A first mini album drops in September 2026.
