Hwang Young-woong's OST track 사랑한다면 — the final song from KBS 2TV weekend drama 사랑을 처방해 드립니다 — releases July 14 across online music platforms. The release ends a drawn-out process that had the singer himself expressing frustration to fans.

At a fan gathering in Daegu on July 4, Hwang told attendees directly: "I have completed the OST vocal work, but the final contract was not concluded." The release comes after that public admission.

Hwang rose to prominence on MBN trot survival show 불타는 트롯맨 in 2023, finishing first in the opening round of the finals before withdrawing ahead of the live second round following personal controversies. Since stepping away from broadcast, he has built his fanbase through nationwide solo concert tours, fan meetings, and regular gatherings. In January this year he publicly released his full high school records to refute allegations he said contained false information.
